Minute2Minute plan is designed especially for people who do not use many minutes with the cost per minutes being .20 cents each, unless the minutes are mobile to mobile (both Virgin Mobile customers) then the charge for minutes is dropped to .10 cents per minute.
Another option with this plan is to pay $6.99 per month with all minutes being .10 cents each anytime.
The Day2Day plan is for people who use their phone every day and automatically charges .35 cents daily to use the phone and then the minutes are .10 cents per minute.
The Month2Month plan is similiar to a plan with a contract, but there is no contract. This plan offers five options with the first being $24.99 per month with 200 anytime minutes and 500 night and weekend minutes.
The second option is $34.99 per month with 300 anytime minutes and 1000 night and weekend minutes.
The third option is $49.99 each month with 400 anytime minutes and unlimited nights and weekends.
The forth option is $59.99 each month for 600 anytime minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, and unlimited mobile to mobile calls.
The fifth and finally option is $99.99 per month for 1000 anytime minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, and unlimited mobile to mobile calls.
The minutes expire depending upon the denomination of card purchased.
There is no contract, no credit checks, and no activation fees associated with Virgin Mobile.
Downloads begin at $1 each for ringtones, games, screensavers, and wallpapers.
Calling features offered with Virgin Mobile are call waiting, caller ID, and voicemail.
Directory assistance calls cost $1.75 per call plus airtime and emergency assistance calls are available.
Virgin Mobile does offer text messaging at a variety of rates. For $5 you can get 200 text messages, then for $10 you get 1,000 text messages, and for $20 you get unlimited messages.
For $5 with a monthly plan you get 1,000 text messages or for $10 with a monthly plan you can get unlimited text messages. Picture messaging costs .25 cents per message.
Virgin Mobile offers web access for $1 per day for up to 500 kilobytes, or for a price of $4.99 per month for up to 5 megabytes. E-mail, whether incoming or outgoing, are .10 cents each.
There will be no roaming charges due to your phone not being able to work outside of coverage area.
Nationwide calls within the 50 states, Puerto Rico, or the Virgin Islands are included in the plans.
International calls start at .15 cents a minutes with rates depending on the destinational country.

One model of phone offered by Virgin Mobile has a full keyboard for IM, email and text messaging, while a few phones will include airtime equivalent to the price of the phone, so the phone will essentially be free.
You are required to at least add $20 of airtime to your account every 90 days to keep it active even if you have a balance on your account.
