
| Boost offers two prepaid plans for their prepaid cellphones to suit the needs of their customers, which are the Basic and Premium plans.
Boost basic plan gives you the freedom to pay by the minute so you can be in control of how much you talk with no commitment, no contract, no credit check or no activation fees. For daytime local and long distance you only pay twenty cents per minute, then for nights and weekends from 9pm to 7am the charge is ten cents per minute. |
With the Boost premium plan you pay $49.95 a month, which gives you unlimited nights and weekends, unlimited nationwide walkie talkie, unlimited text messaging, unlimited wireless web, and 200 regular any daytime minutes then only ten cents per minute after that.
As with the basic plan, there is no no contract only a month to month commitment. There are three basic tiers of the premium plan, which all come with unlimited walkie talkie.
The first tier cost $30 per month and charges all call at ten cents per minute. The second tier cost $50 per month and includes 400 anytime minutes and any overage minutes cost only ten cents each. This tier also includes unlimited text and picture messaging.
The third and final tier cost $60 per month and includes 600 anytime minutes and unlimited nights and weekends beginning at 7pm, and includes unlimited web access.
Boost also offers free customer service available by phone or email. Text messaging is also offered on all of their plans at a cost of ten cents per message to send, but incoming text messages are free.
To send and to receive audio and picture messages it costs only twenty-five cents. Boost does offer a $1/Day Chat play that offers unlimited incoming and outgoing text messaging. Also offered with the premium plan is web access for $10 per month or .35 cents per minute with the basic plan.
Boost offers ringtones, wallpapers, games, applications, and much more as downloads for most of their phones. Calling features include voicemail and caller ID on both plans, and on the premium plan call waiting and three - way calling is offered.
International calling is available, but the rates depend on the destination. Boost has no roaming charges, except with the unlimited plan, which are calls placed outside of the local calling area of the subscriber and then they are billed at .15 cents per minute.
Nationwide long distance calls are charges as the same as all regular calls.
Informational call to the 411 number cost $1.29 per call plus the airtime, but any calls to 911 are free. Some of the available prepaid cellphone models that are compatible with Boost are the Motorola i855, Motorola c290, and Motorola w385.
Boost cater to the younger crowd who are wanting phones full of features, as a result, all phones are color screen and have downloadable ringtones, speakerphone, and so much more available.
